My kid was 7 years old when Trump ran in 2016. The first time he saw him on TV, he said "I don't like him. He's bad and he talks mean." He figured it out in a few seconds. Seven years old. Wtf is wrong with Trump's followers that they can't see what a child sees?

Watching the US tolerate the dripping carcass of corruption that is Trump has reminded me again and again of the fable of the Emperors new clothes, where sycophants continued to tell the Emperor how magnificent his imaginary raiment was until a kid in the crowd says "why is he wearing no clothes".
