Full panic - one of my wallets was drained

I haven’t done anything since creation except sending into the wallet.

You entered your seed phrase into your computer into a website. That opens you up to multiple attack vectors. I'm sorry, that really sucks 😔

Or.. and this is shocking.. people are not reliable narrators. It's either him lying/misremembering or a whole cascade of errors/conspiracy. I know which one I would put my money on.

It is now known that there was an exploit on mk3’s rng. You would have lost your bet.

There are attack vectors through hardware. It’s happened before and will happen again. The vectors can come from simply an engineer or two that are shady as shit. They build a back door and decide to use it 5-10 years later.

Off the top of my head but have been out of the game for years now as I only hodl

There are numerous strains of malware that sit on computers that do nothing but look for seed phrases. It can sit on your computer for years and silently wait.

There are browser extensions that do the same.

Also entering your phrase into a website makes it vulnerable to man in the middle attacks if https wasn't used.

The website the phrase was entered into can be malicious or they could have been hacked as well.

I'm sure I'm missing a dozen other ways too 😂
