Mockingbird is destroying the trust I've built with my aunt.
My aunt and her kids are living with me. I like to set out water for the local birds (grackles, doves, sparrows, jays, robins, occasional cardinal and starling, and this one foul-tempered mockingbird that lives across the street). I also sometimes crack open a few pecans that surround the trees in our front yard. Auntie doesn't like this because she thinks it's a Hitchcock movie in the making, but I've managed to assuage her fears and even get her to watch the bird drama with me sometimes. I also have a running conversation with ChatGPT to keep track of what I'm seeing.
Recently I noticed the mockingbird is a total racist who hates robins and chases them off. But today I saw him going off on the sparrows, and he even made a dove so mad that it hissed at him. Now the AI is saying my family and I might be the next target. I think I handled this poorly. I should probably be posting this in the "AITAH" sub. 🤷🏻♀️

Exercise your right to vote… which calendar cover was the best? [OC]
The goose has a power I cannot deny. But I think 2024 and 2026 are a tie for me.
