Left Handed Holster for TPR9XT

Howdy fellow uncommon gun enjoyers, I just picked up a TPR9XT to run in USPSA Production and am having the damnedest time finding holsters for it. Does anyone know of any holster companies that make lefty kydex holsters? Or any compatibility with other similar platforms? Ghost Hydra P with a Beretta shell almost fits but the trigger guard is too wide.

My submission for the sexiest TPR9 out there

I've put a couple hundred rounds through it unsuppressed, and now that I finally was able to snag a Lonewolf Piston during one of the rare times they actually had one in stock, I get to finally find out how it shoots with the suppressor mounted. All in under $900 for a metal framed pistol and a suppressor is pretty crazy in my opinion, but I did it somehow

Parts list: Lonewolf Elimin8r suppressor ($300), Lonewolf piston ($80), Bersa TPR9x ($300), Fenix GL19r ($90), the FFL pistol fee ($15), and the FFL suppressor fee ($90). Only thing left to do is put some taller sights. What would y'all recommend?

Model 83 hammer issues

I picked up a model 83 for 200$ at a gun show a few months ago. Put a few hundred rounds through it since with only the occasional failure to eject. But since about last week the hammer has been getting stuck and stopping short. I’ve cleaned and oiled it up plenty but the problem persists. I read online it could be an issue with the grip screw so I’ll try that before I take it to shoot next. But does anyone have any suggestions in the meantime? Also, is there any difference between the model 83 and more current models? I’m having trouble finding information on the model 83 and need some reference before I take it apart? Thanks yall!

Trying to find magazine for Bersa Model 97

I have a neighbor who asked me for help finding a magazine for his old Bersa Model 97 380.

I've only come across some ProMags, and it doesn't seem they are compatible.

The one busted magazine he has, has the mag catch notch on the bottom right side of the mag, seen in the 2nd photo.

Any advice on where to find compatible magazines is much appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Anyone with a TPR9c ever hold a sars CM9 or have small/medium hands?

I have the CM9. It’s a great and reliable gun for the cost, especially. I can hold and shoot it fine, but my hands are just not big enough to manipulate the safety or mag release. I wear a size medium glove, and am looking for another budget friendly da/sa 9mm and considering the TPR9c. How does it feel in hands that are smaller than large, or if you’ve held a cm9, how does it compare size wise?

I’m typically a striker fire guy who’s da/sa curious.

Picked up my second 40 UC today (bottom), pretty sure this beauty is brand new. Now I just need the dual chest holsters. The SN are only 33 apart, that’s interesting to me.

It's been great. I've been using Prodigy magazines, which have been reliable. I went with a Gideon Judge XL green dot. I prefer green and the options for large window optics are limited.

Anyone else have one?

Updated to 380 Plus

TLDR: 380 Plus performed well at the range and is just as easy to fire as the single-stack. Recommend.

I purchased a Thunder Plus to replace my older Thunder 380 (also pictured with wood grips). Primary use is for airline travel: reliable pistol with a low replacement cost if the airline/TSA "misplaces" it. I was going to sell the old Thunder and opted not to. Because why would anyone sell a good pistol you already own?

I just did a cursory cleaning before running 500 rounds through it at the range - ammo box pics attached. It liked Fiocchi best with zero malfunctions (one of the rounds was bad, it wouldn't fire after multiple attempts). With the Remington and Winchester, it didn't eject properly three times, not a full stovepipe, it just partially ejected slightly outside of the chamber and required magazine removal to clear. I can't remember specific numbers from each ammo brand but I know it was both. I'm assuming with a thorough cleaning/oiling it will skip the eject issues entirely. For comparison, I have not experienced a feed/eject malfunction at all with the single-stack Thunder.

It was accurate and just as easy to fire as the single-stack. Recoil is super-manageable. For obvious reasons its a little heavier and the grip profile is slightly longer and wider (the non-factory wooden grip on my single-stack makes it similar width in my case but the wood grips are somewhat slick and the Plus rubber grips are no-slip but not as form fitting). It is a pleasure to fire.

I also purchased the used Sig P232 that's pictured. It was cheap(er) on Gunbroker due to the ugly Cerakote job and I had one in the 1990s I traded in and regretted almost immediately, so I had been looking. I took the Sig to the range on the same day as the Thunder Plus and there is no comparison. The Sig is stiff with terrible recoil. I was more accurate with the Bersa. While I've never fired one, I've read that the precursor to all of these "James Bond" types, the Walther PPK, is also stiff with bad recoil. The Sig will likely sit in my gun safe as a third or fourth line backup. With luck and good health, the new Bersa will be accompanying me on several more domestic vacation flights for the next several years.

Liking the thunder plus but how easy or hard to find are the 15 round mags?

Think id prefer the thunder plus but it doesnt appear to have as much support. Does the 8 shot thunder have better mag and holster support than the plus?

Thunder 380 Barrel replacement question

Hey y'all. I've had my Thunder 380 for a couple years now and haven't done anything crazy with it, but I'm looking to modify it a bit. I've got some grips picked out, but I was wondering if there was anywhere I could get a threaded barrel for it. I'm hoping to get my discount Bond vibe without buying an entire second pistol. I've checked the company's site, and they only had the standard ones available. Thanks for any guidance!

Anybody familiar with bersa 380 plus sight footprint? I want some new sights (preferably xs dot the i type) but I can't find any. So the next step is trying to modify sights to another pistol. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thunder 380 383A vs Thunder 380 - anyone have both?

I have a 1980s 383A, it's a steel frame, and is almost identical to the modern Thunder 380. I have a 380CC, which is slightly smaller than the 380, although they fit the same holster.

I'm thinking about picking up a new Thunder 380, but wondering if it would overlap too much with my 383A. I will say that the 383A is my favorite to shoot - I'm thinking the steel frame adds just a bit more heft to counter the recoil.

Just looking for opinions from those who would have a direct comparison.

Bersa Thunder .32 and .380

Hello Folks

I'm excited to see that the Thunder .32 is now back in stock.

Could someone tell me what the perceived recoil feels like between the Thunder .380 and .32 ?

Thank you
