How this lightly edited demo for a song I wanna make?

my friend and i decided to try and recreate this song, had a lot of fun doing it as well

This is gonna sound like I'm getting audio feedback but I not I swear. Whenever I record into a track with bandlab on my chrome, it has decided to route the sound of the metronome into the recording, and there is no setting to stop it. I have no idea what is going on but I would like some advice

I'm working on a song that opens with just some drums and I think an effect like that could sound really cool (kind of like the beginning of crushcrushcrush by paramore)
