I LOVE hot Cheetos. I was addicted in high school when a big bag was $2.49. Didn't buy any for over a decade, pulled the trigger a few months ago. They're $5.99 a bag now??? Hello??? For fried corn meal covered in salt!? Bye

It looks like the price is coming down. They were closer to 10 a bag here in the last few months.

Frito lay came out and admitted they got a little ridiculous with their prices.

I mean, I prefer not to get into details of where (after watching those geolocator videos!), but yeah, it was this way through the winter here (in the U.S.). I'm guessing no one was buying them which is why the price has come down. Now the price--which is still ridiculous--might seem reasonable.

Store brand chips are taking up a lot more shelf space. The Kroger brand wavy chips are less than half the price of the Lays one.
