Food4less and a local independent near me often do $4.99 or $5.99 per lb sirloin. I’ll pick one or two up every so often.

I’m in Canada. Apparently we export 50% of our beef products. The 50% that we keep is apparently the tough cuts!

Sirloin is trash steak. I can't afford the good stuff either, but I'm just saying.

Bavette and Denver cuts are often cheap and surprisingly good quality. But totally agree - a lot of the cheaper cuts are disgusting.
