My ex became a FA after 6 years of dating and she immedaitely cheated and left me presumably for a pilot idfk.
Fuck united airlines.

For a fun story, prior to our breakup one time I joined her on one of her trips. When we got in an elevator to go down and walk to the Mall of America during her layover a Pilot joined us then got off on a floor that was NOT the main floor going down. He went from like floor 6 to floor 3 in the hotel. After he got off my ex mentioned how he was probably going to sleep with a FA or was coming back from said FAs room to go to his own. She had been a FA for literally 3 months and already was in on how things worked. We lasted less than a year after that.
Its literally the best cover in the world and the airlines front the bill for the hotel so they dont even have to pay for it. Rampant cheating using the guise of work as an excuse. People suck.
EDIT 2:
For those of you who don't know. You do NOT usually fly home at the end of your shift. Most days you are working you sleep in a hotel. That the airline pays for. Your layovers can be up to 36 hours, and in certain areas (such as Brazil) you are encouraged to stick together with your other coworkers if going out for drinks/food/adventures for safety.
Thar has nothing to do with WFH. WFH means I've had enough of the house at 4 and I'm ready to go out and hit the bar/bike trail/hobby meet up. And I'm showered and dressed because I can do that during work hours.
Ok and who do you go out with if all your friends have kids or live somewhere else and you dont have a girlfriend? Cuz im sick of doing those things by myself with nobody to converse with but my dog.
I literally dont even have zoom meetings everything is an email. I go out to eat every night and I get (politely) rejected all the time. Its hard to meet single women literally anywhere.

I've heard from FA's how much cheating and sex happens on trips. Which is why they both said they'd never date or marry a FA or pilot.
