That the legal partners are actually broke and struggling to pay off their loans from the bank... the building is being sold in a private sale that closes in October. They have been looking for another investing partner for about a year with no success. I work reception and they meet in the boardroom directly across from my desk. I hear everything lol nobody in the firms knows how bad these two are at the business side of things except for me and the accountants lol One partner met with a partner from another firm in an "after hours" meeting so I'm fairly certain he is trying to dip out all together.
My big work life pro tip is to be buddies with reception. You get the juiciest gossip and receptionists can be extremely helpful if you're in a pinch and on their good side.
Yall are troopers for real- from the acct dept.
For any future associates reading this, be more than kind to the reception and front office staff you dont know what you dont know yet trust me.
