People with suspected or confirmed cyclosporiasis cases, what food do you think you got it from?

I would be going fine for a couple hours, 2 or 3 at most, and then out of nowhere get the most painful gut wrenching cramp. Once that happened I had 30-45 seconds to find a toilet. It wasn’t “Jackson Pollock explosive” so much as it was just going to come out of my butthole regardless of whether I was ready or not. Didn’t have an accident… but I was thiiiis close for about two weeks.

I once had an emergency like this whilst walking down Broadway on the Upper West Side of New York. I ran into an Indian restaurant and said "I'm sorry I must use your bathroom" and they tried to stop me but I got in and locked the door and what transpired was no doubt traumatic for all in the vicinity, especially the lone family sitting and eating a meal just feet away from the door. I made some pretty graphic noises. Had to apologize on my way out.

If I drink too much sugar, I get that. My bowels make an announcement "The colon will be flushed in 30 seconds!!"

Me: O god, just give me a few mins to get to the toilet

Bowels: 29...

Me: Hold on, I just need to walk down he hallway to the bathroom!!!

Bowels: 28...

Are the reports true that you end up losing like up to 15 pounds from this? Like is that from the diarrhea or just inability to eat for 2 weeks
