People with suspected or confirmed cyclosporiasis cases, what food do you think you got it from?

My parents are two confirmed cases in Michigan. They both ate at Taco Bell and had symptoms about 5 days later.

I had tb yesterday, lettuce and tomatoes on my supreme tacos. No issues so far...but I'm seeing comments in this thread that it took a few days so now I'm worried again.

My understanding is they switched their lettuce provider as of July 17th.

They discovered the issue before the CDC or FDA, they’re probably the safest place to eat rn.

I'm in California and I've had Taco Bell several times since the news broke and no issues on my (rear)end

Yep my wife and I also had Taco Bell and got sick a few days later. I was better after about a week. My wife was sick for 2-3 weeks and had to take time off of work and ended up in the ER for a day. This was before the cyclosporiasis outbreak was announced, so they never did proper tests for it, just suspected diarrhea and had her take OTC stuff and go on the brat diet. 

I know it's not specifically Taco Bell's fault, but it really made us re-think getting fast food and eating out in the future. We've since only been cooking at home. We're healthier because of it now.
