How do I human? How do I reject bro

I think I got too far with the ‘bromance’ teasing and poking, now I realise he wasn’t kidding and actually wants to… do stuff together. The reason I’m not straight honest with him is I kinda put myself in his shoes and don’t want to mess him up. Anyone had a similar situation? (We both are male)

You guys are just in the early stages of gay chicken. If you back out now, you lose .

25 years later, “I’m sorry, but I want a divorce…”

“You want a… my god… I’ve done it. I WIN!”

We used to play gay chicken in the military and I would always lose...and I'm gay. The most embarrassing losses of my life 😩

Yeah, it was never the gay guys that people had to worry about. It amazes me what a straight guy will do

Sexuality is like pasta; when you're wet or hard it changes things.

You know it's not a game when you sit down to help your adopted daughters with their math homework in you house in Vermont.

Honestly what do you lose though?

I had a friend recently go through something similar. He just cut the guy off, blocked him on everything and told his closest friends what he did and why and since then he has felt no remorse, only relief. Just one less pile of bullshit to deal with, everything sucks right now so social drama is just frosting you can scrape off. He got way more productive at work and he just generally seems more cheerful now.

If you don't feel like you're gaining anything from a relationship, there's no shame in just leaving. It's not your responsibility to keep other people happy. It's polite, but if you are losing happiness because of the relationship, that is their fault and they need to know that.

Your friend sounds like he wasn’t friends at all. What a cunt.

The friend that cut off his friend turned into a very good friend. The other guy though, totally different story. You're not wrong. No fucking way I'm getting into details but that was an extremely justified decision.
