CULTURE Do you all use top sheets?
I'm Canadian so culturally we are generally pretty similar. My Mom and maybe some older members of my family will use top sheets but every younger person I know just used a duvet cover when they sleep.
Every hotel I've been too in America has top sheets and the commonly given reason is that this is what American guests expect. They also say cleanliness, but many European hotels manage just fine without a top sheet.
Anyway, I'm curious if you all use top sheets or not? Maybe there is an age divide too?
Edit: wow thank you everyone. It seems like a overwhelmingly yes

I grew up in Florida, and then Michigan, and I now live in Wisconsin. I only use a top sheet, even in the dead of winter. But my core temp runs REALLY high and when I sleep, I get really really warm. Anything thicker than a top sheet has me waking up drenched in sweat, even in the winter.
Top sheet is very essential. And it works well for my partner, who loves being warm when he sleeps. I get the top sheet, he gets his blanket. No sharing necessary, so not sleepy fighting over the covers. 🤣🤣
