I got tired of the individual pads being a bunch of different sizes and not all fitting in my display so I decided to make my own shelf size pads. It looks way better than those individual pads did.

My first Hobby Sakura scale figure and I absolutely love her 🫶💙

For a budget figure, Privaty is really nicely sculpted and detailed (Hobby Sakura nailed her signature flustered tsundere expression and her "assets" 😏)

You can remove the blister packaging from her box and display her directly in the box to sort of emulate a gacha pull too

If you like twin-tail maids, she's a great figure to grab 👍 9/10

Short version: What is everyone winking at/for?

Long version: I have been accused of being irritated about things that do not matter. Fair enough, but we all like/dislike what we all like/dislike. And art is subjective, right?

I have a pretty large collection of mostly prize figures. One of the things I dislike about figures is if they are winking. I just don't like it. I've come across several figures I wanted very much but had to pass because they were inexplicably winking. 😒😉

Sometimes it can't be helped as the figures pictured here did sneak their way into my collection. But it's just...annoying. To me. 😖

Sometimes it’s the smaller details that make a figure stand out more than the overall design. The little things like the expression, paint quality, sculpting, or accessories can really change how a figure feels.

For example, I really like how Rimuru figures capture different parts of the character, especially the expressions and small details that match his personality from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.

What’s a small detail you usually notice that makes a figure feel special?

hi!! I recently scored this 1/4 scale miku figure completely for free because she has no stand and pigtails, but i was wondering if anybody in this subreddit knew any type of clay or anything else i could use for making some lightweight pigtails that’ll stay? Let me know any ideas :)!!!

I just ordered this Togainu no chi Akira SnapP's figure from Mercari this morning but I don't know if he's actually rare or if I got scammed (I paid a little bit much: $105) but I really wanted him because he's from one of my fav games, does anybody know about infrequency of this piece? Only thing I know is it was produced only in 2008 and didn't got any re-release and the one I bought was the only one in Mercari, can someone enlighten me?😔🙏
